因確診武漢肺炎而一度留醫深切治療部的英國首相約翰遜，已經於周日（4月12日）出院，他隨即在社交網站發放一條長約5分鐘的片段報平安，並感謝照顧他的醫護人員。

片段中的約翰遜精神抖擻，表示醫護人員拯救了他生命，難以用言語去表達他的虧欠。他又感謝全國人民的犧牲及付出。

約翰遜指出，全國數以百萬計的人留在家中抗疫是值得的，他有信心可以克服挑戰，因為過去已經克服了很多的挑戰。
